Abrasive
lapping film is one of the newest and most exciting methods for fine sharpening knives and tools. PSA-backed lapping film is
extremely simple to use. Simply peal off the paper backing and press it down
on the substrate.
3M aluminum oxide lapping films are carefully graded for greater cutting efficiency and
mounted on a high strength polyester backing.
Our lapping film is available in 8” x 11.5” inch
sheets or 1” x 5.5” strips to be used on the Wicked Edge. It is available in 12, 9, 5, 3, 1 and .3 micron.
We tested the 1” strips and were really
impressed with the results. They work quickly and were very durable.
Sheets and strips can be purchased in individual
grits or we have prepared several variety kits for your convenience.
