Lapping Film - Available in sheets or strips
Lapping film is one of the newest and most exciting methods for ultra fine sharpening of knives and tools. 
Our PSA-backed lapping film is extremely easy to use. Simply peel off the paper backing and press it down on any flat surface. 3M lapping film is carefully graded for greater cutting efficiency and mounted on a high strength polyester backing.
Our lapping film is available in 8" x 11.5" inch sheets or 1" x 5.5" strips to be used on the Wicked Edge. It is available in 12, 9, 5, 3, 1 and .3 micron.
We tested these strips and were really impressed with the results. They produce some of the finest edges we've ever seen.
Sheets and strips can be purchased in individual grits or we have prepared several variety kits for your convenience. 
You can also cut the sheets into any dimension you like with a common utility knife.  Just be sure to cut them from the backside (abrasive facing down).
